This February Wild City is proud to present the debut Indian tour of Doc Daneeka a.k.a Mial Watkins, one of Wales’ only bass music producers based in Berlin. Watkins represents one of the most exciting new sounds to emerge out of the European bass music scene with his debut album ‘They!Live’ (sampler below) released on Modeselektor’s infamous 50 Weapons label stunning critics. ‘They!Live’ was created in collaboration with Wales’ other bass don Benjamin Damage, the two Swansea boys have together created a powerful force placing Wales in the spotlight for underground new music. Recently labelled “the King of Wales” by online US mag XLR8R,

Doc’s releases and remixes have been making a profound impact on the international underground bass scene since the word go. With releases on Ramp, Fabric, PTN and Well Rounded in the bag, Doc Daneeka recently started his own boutique label, Ten Thousand Yen, releasing music from the likes of XXXY and Julio Bashmore as well of course, his own unique material. Bookings all around Europe throughout 2012 have solidified Doc Daneeka’s energetic DJ sets as one of the most sought after performances by clubs all around the world and we’re more excited to bring him to Mumbai and Delhi on 1-2 February respectively.
