Sound Lab Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand & Germany 2016

Fifteen musicians from Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Germany and Malaysia will stay and meet at the rainforest resort The Dusun from 10-21 January 2016. During the 10-day workshop they will work on music, explore ways to collaborate, create and connect.

The participating musicians are given no guidelines on how to collaborate. They will improvise based on their genre preferences, at the same time they will break away from the usual music patterns and electronic soundscapes.

The showcase on 16 Jan is an exhibition of the Soundlab and performances open to the public.
